«Вместо чудес или дара пророчества»: миссионерская стратегия иезуитов в Азии в XVI веке - Любовь Андреевна Диханова-Внуковская
Португальская торговая империя послужила базой для создания глобальной сети иезуитских миссий в XVI в. Столкнувшись с абсолютно чуждой Европе культурной средой, иезуиты создали собственную миссионерскую стратегию – политику культурной аккомодации, отвечающую идеям сотериологии, ставшую объединяющим элементом для европейского социума раннего Нового времени. Она позволила ордену не только активно проводить христианизацию, но также социально интегрироваться в общества таких геополитически определяющих государств Восточной и Южной Азии, как Япония, Китай и Индия. В книге осуществлен комплексный анализ политики культурной аккомодации. Это было достигнуто за счет использования обширной документальной базы, а также отхода от фрагментарности в освещении деятельности иезуитских миссий в Азии. В исследовании они рассмотрены как единый трансрегиональный феномен – провинция Индия, которая в XVI в. охватывала огромные территории от берегов Восточной Африки до Японского архипелага. Монография наглядно демонстрирует, что вопреки огромным расстояниям и сложностям навигации, ее отдельные административно-территориальные единицы были взаимосвязаны между собой не только общей доктриной и системой управления, но и унифицированной миссионерской стратегией.
